SEAP and EPACA – the lobbyists’ lobbies
Nominated for their work to keep the public in the dark
There have been increasing calls for transparency around who’s funding who to do what on the Brussels lobby scene. Meanwhile, EPACA, the European Public Affairs Consultancy Association, and SEAP, the Society of European Affairs Professionals, work hard to protect privileges and continued secrecy around lobbying and argue against meaningful transparency rules.

Voters said about this nominee:
It can be no Demokracy without Transparence!
CSPLA, BSA, SNEP are my nominee, because they use prtext of artistr rights to assur the control of informations over digital technologies
Self-regulation never works, and when money meets politics things get even worse. The public must be informed as good as possible about any and all activities in EU lawmaking at all times.
they deserve the award because of their structural support of lobby activities. put an end to lobbying, grass roots democracy now!
good information is a condition for change
Evil cannot stand the light
“No problem can be solved with the same conscioussness that created it” – Albert Einstein We have enough misinformation already. We need truth. Time has proved that this multinationals cannot be the answer to the problems that they themselves are creating. If they want to cooperate they would better do it with their mouth shut and their logos, brands, and products out of each and every initiative to change the currently status quo. Their money is always welcome, the same cannot be said about their ideas, people, products or disgusting marketing presence that makes the world a huge outdoor. I want a world free of labels. NO LOGO CAMPAIGN Paula Rosa Coppede
if lobbying is legal, it has to be transparent at least.
die unwissenheit ist der größte feind der demokratie
All lobby groups presented for voting are shameful in they way that they try to influence the way our political bodies decide. This is a blatant disregard of the citizen and consumer. Shame on all of them. Transparency and concise laws concerning lobbyism are the biggest threats to all deceitful lobby groups and thus they deserve the vote. Once we get more or even complete transparency all other lobby groups will be much easier to check. Therefore i vote for (against) SEAP and EPACA!
cause it is a keystone for the lobby illegal actions
disrupting democracy
because transparency is essential to proper governance
S’ils échouent, c’est le premier pas pour faire échouer TOUS les autres
Vertuschung und Intransperenz entmuendigt alle Buerger!
more than keep the public in the the dark, lobbyists push our world to the fire of the hell!!! Plus que de laisser le public dans le noir, les lobbyistes poussent notre monde dans les flammes de l enfer.
Because only the public is able to control all the others. If SEAP and EPACA fail the other campaigns nominated have a much harder work to gain success.
because the truth shall set you free
